The owner and operator of Mango Projects is Neil Batcheler.

Originally from the UK, after a career in the motorcycle industry Neil sold his share of a successful London motorcycle business in the late 90s, bought a boat and sailed away…having spent some years cruising the Mediterranean and with a change of boats (from a monohull to a catamaran) Neil and his wife crossed the Atlantic to the Caribbean. After cruising around from Trinidad to St Maarten and west to Venezuela and Curacao the decision was made to settle in Grenada, initially working with the chandlery Island Water World. After attending the Yacht & Small Craft Survey course at the Chapman School of Seamanship in Florida he began working with the respected Grenada-based surveyor Bob Goodchild, putting the knowledge and skills acquired over the years into practice.

Mango Projects Ltd was formed in 2015 with the intention of supplying a variety of marine related services, primarily marine surveys for yachts and small craft, along with other interests.

Neil is a SAMS Accredited Marine Surveyor, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, ABYC Standards Certified, ABYC Certified Technician – Marine Electrical, and ABYC Certified Marine Systems Advisor.
